Overview
The stitches are usually dissolvable. Mild discomfort, watering and redness are normal initially; the redness fades over 2–6 weeks. Drops are used as prescribed, and most normal activities can resume quickly — swimming is usually deferred for a few weeks.
Report severe pain, rapidly increasing swelling, or sudden loss of vision urgently.
